The Inn at Meander Plantation is my favorite B&B that I've visited (though, I've only been to 6, so my view maybe limited). Everything was fabulous! The Inn is located in a very quiet area- perfect for some rest and relaxation. We stayed in the Madison cottage. It has a private entrance with a small patio, comfy bed and great... More

From the warm welcome on arrival to the heartfelt hugs at leaving, these innkeepers make you glad to be here. It's true Southern hospitality at its best. The plantation house is grand and comfortably furnished, with understated decor worthy of a magazine spread. Each little detail is carefully attended. I particularly enjoyed the Shearer Suite, with my own nice living... More

I booked a two-night Living Social deal at the Inn at Meander Plantation with a friend to help her celebrate her 60th birthday. It was slightly off-season but we had a great time. The innkeepers are two warm and friendly ladies who have a very interesting story to tell and are a pleasure to talk with. They're also great gourmet... More

This is a wonderful old plantation house, beautifully sited on a rolling hillside outside of Culpepper. We stayed in the Colonel Fry suite, and the bedroom was lovely. The bathroom was OK, but needs to be renovated. We only met one of the owners, but she was gracious, friendly and welcoming. Gave us a great restaurant recommendation for dinner. We... More

The Inn is full of character and charm. We always prefer well-worn B & B's rather than perfect ones since you are able to see the bones of the house and understand all the renovations which have taken place. That being said, more attention to housekeeping details are needed to justify the very high price of the accomodations. For example,... More

I arrived at the inn on Thursday afternoon, and quickly settled into my gracious and elegant accommodations in the recently redecorated Scheerer (sp?) Sisters Suite, one of the luxurious offerings in the main manor house. Regina, the head housekeeper, didn't know my exact arrival time, but my room beckoned warmly with the fireplace lit and soft lights glowing. Traveling solo... More

It was a social living deal. Price was right. Nice quaint place to relax. The dinner and gourmet breakfasts were both awesome!!! the madison cottage was nicely decorated and clean. The Inn could you some updating, but then again it's an old old house. The caretakers/cooks were very friendly. Id love to come back and eat some more yummy food.... More

Just returned from another visit to the Inn at Meander Plantation, something I always try to plan to do when in Virginia on business. My accommodations this time, the Col. Fry suite, included a large, well-decorated bedroom with fireplace and sitting area, bath with top-shelf amenities including bath salts and a luxurious robe, and a second sitting area with desk.... My wife and I recently stayed at the Inn at Meander Plantation in the Groomsmen Cottage. Our cottage was very nice with a comfortable bed and well finished bathroom. Our first night at the Inn at Meander Plantation, the temperature dipped down to the teens which resulted in it taking a bit of time to warm our cottage up. Fortunately... More
