We enjoyed our 2 night stay in Granada and at the La Islita Boutique Hotel. We had been in the campo for a few days and the La Islita was a great way to relax. The roof top patio is very nice with great views of the town. The breakfasts were great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. More

Very pretty little hotel, nicely decorated and very clean-Great book exchange! Excellent location near the park and the promenade--There are some roosters near by, so bring your ear plugs if you're a light sleeper and want to sleep in...or ask for a quiet room. I switched rooms the second night and I didn't hear the roosters at all. A really... More

La Islita is a gorgeous hotel with amazing staff, delicious breakfasts that change every day, they accommodated my every need immediately and are well located in beautiful Granada. They have a variety of rooms to cater to any traveler. I would recommend this place to everyone! More

I was a bit disappointed when we first checked in but after settling in I thought I should be more open-minded. The hotel was very clean and our room was spacious, although it was difficult to see in the closet. The staff was very friendly, the breakfasts were very good. The hotel is comfortably decorated with "green" materials, many of... More

What a beautiful and relaxing spot to stay. Tim and Andres pulled all the stops when putting this property together. Was tucked in at the end of a dead end street and only a few moments walk to the center of town. Felt safe, comfortable and so well cared for. The staff was amazing and helpful! This was a welcome... La Islita is the best place to stay in Granada. The hotel is beautiful, the breakfasts divine, but most importantly, the owners wonderful. They were so helpful in helping us plan our travels, and even brought us fresh limes and ice to go with our drinks unprompted one night. We really enjoyed our stay there and I would definitely recommend... More

This small hotel is in a beautiful old home three blocks from the main square. The staff is wonderful and very attentive, and the breakfast was quite good. We stayed in the least expensive room, which was perfectly fine. Importantly, the hotel has its own back-up generator as the whole city had lost power our first day there (apparently, this... More

I'm Nicaraguan and wanted my Mexican hubby to experience Nicaragua with me. We chose La Islita because I love boutique hotels and it seemed like a good price. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and Granada so beautiful and relaxing that my husband asked to extend our stay another day! I was delighted. The daily breakfasts served were yummy... More

The location is great its on a quiet street. Just a short walk to great restaurants and the sites. We were really impressed by... More

The lovely lobby, interior courtyard, breakfast area and rooftop patio were such a treat! The location was great too - on a quiet dead-end street, yet only two blocks from the lively Calle Calzado. Hosts and staff were attentive, and breakfast was good. Our room was well-equipped with fan, AC, TV and hot water, but felt unexpectedly dim and cheerless... More
