My husband and I had the pleasure of exploring Granada in September 2011, using Miss Magrit's as our home base. This is a beautiful B&B, with incredibly fun and gracious hosts. The house has been exquisitely restored, the rooms are spacious and well appointed, and the food is great. We're returning to Miss Margrit's this week and can't wait! More

Beautiful rooms, awesome swimming pool and most importantly the best service you could ask for!! Chris, the owner/manager and now best friend, was more than welcoming, pleased our every need and was even a great tour guide around Granada, which could be slightly confusing if you've never walked their streets before. We live in Leon and we will surely be... More

We recently stayed at Miss Margrit's at the beginning of our trip to Nicaragua as well as the tail end. This is a great base for seeing everything that Granada has to offer. Quick walk (5 minutes tops) to the central plaza and the market. The proprietor, Chris, did an excellent job with making us feel at home and the... More

Very friendly and helpful proprietor who can arrange whatever day trips you might want. Lovely home with beautiful atrium and pool, flora and well-mannered fauna (house dog, kitty, 2 turtles, and a visiting hummingbird). Clean, spacious room with hot water. Yummy breakfast. Pretty good location; I'd say less than 10 minutes to walk to the Caldeza. We had a great... More

We spent two nights at Miss Margrit's and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Chris but his friends, Molly and Lucy who were filling in for him while he was in the UK were wonderful, warm and friendly hostesses. At our request they booked us an amazing tour through Las Isletas to a beautiful cacoa... More

We spent the final night of our vacation at Miss Margrit's and we were impressed by the many positives, including the friendliness, open-air atmosphere, cleanliness, and security. We had a very pleasant evening in downtown Granada and were treated as though we had been friends forever. Nothing negative about this place & a very pleasant stay. More

We stayed in Miss Margrit's during a month long trip to Central America and we can honestly say that this was the best we stayed in. Bree and Chris were so welcoming with Bree organising many activities for us. As there were 6 of us travelling together, our daughter and her partner stayed in a different hotel in the city,... More

Miss Margrit's is an oasis of comfort within an easy walk of the centre of the beautiful colonial city of Granada. There are only three guest rooms and the atmosphere is more like a house shared by old friends. Chris makes you feel right at home, and is an excellent resource for getting to know the city. The casa is... More

Everything in the reviews was spot on! A true gem in a lovely, historic city. Chris is a kind, enthusiastic host. Interested in hanging out (while he makes delicious breakfasts) - to get to know you; and chock a block full of information and things to do. Chris' British charm coupled with his four-legged, canine companion (Lola) and her local,... More
