Thankyou to Tim and Helen - wonderful hosts who looked after a group of 10 rowdy skiers! The chalet was beautiful and in a great location... Bus stop on your doorstep or a 10 minute walk to the town and slopes! The cooking was fab... Especially the Asian Sweetcorn Soup (I stole the recipe) and the daily cakes were yum-tastic!... More

Chalet l'Himalaya was the perfect choice for a group ski holiday in Meribel. The owners, AktivExperience were very helpful throughout the booking process and the hosts Tim and Helen were brilliant chefs and really went above and beyond to make the holiday fun. The location is handy for the town and slopes. We would definitely return. More

With 11 adults all keen on a good mix of ski and the après, we all had an amazing experience at the ‎Chalet Himalaya. The chalet itself has 5 rooms 4 upstairs each with two twins on the lower floor and ‎an extra bed in a mezzanine level, the final room is same level as the living space. All the... More

We visited this chalet as a group of 12 people a couple of weeks ago and had the most amazing and relaxing stay. Tim and Helen were delightful and catered to our every need. Helen's afternoon cakes were the best I have ever tasted and she even baked me a Birthday cake. The food was of a very high standard... More

Greeted by Tim and Helen with a freshly baked cake, after a long delayed flight. The chalet clean and cosy, plenty of room for our group of 11 adults. The chalet was in a great location easy walk to centre or free bus just round the cornor. Tim and Helen were great, they were very friendly and always had a... More

Greeted by Tim and Helen. The chalet is homely, clean, warm and comfy. The rooms are the same. Breakfast is from 8am and consists of pastries, juice and cooked bacon, eggs and sausage. Perfectly adequate. Helen cooks a delicious cake every day for afternoon tea. Tim cooks dinner for 8pm and is 3 courses. I thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Red... More

We stayed in L'Himalaya last February and again this January. I cannot recommend it enough. Helen and Tim were there to look after us again (we really hoped they would be) and it was fabulous. What a welcoming pair they are! The food was first class and the hospitality wonderful. Everyone should sample Helen's cupcakes - yum! More

We stayed in January 2012 for a 4 night break for our group of 10. The chalet was great - really close to the bus stop. The best thing was Helen and Tim who could not have been more helpful and friendly. Their food was great too! More

Really comfortable chalet in quiet end of Meribel with nice elevated views of receding snow - at least at the beginning of the week - only green fields by the end (early April and very sunny). But the chalet was very pleasant - our second stay. Tim and Helen did a wonderful job looking after us - great, rich food;... More
