Hotel am Markt is a lovely old hotel in the beautiful little town of Bacharach. A absolutely must for everybody who loves romance in a place where time seems to be frozen. no film decor, but real life.

The city is wonderfull and the hotel is part of the romantic context. There was a delicious hot bread in the breakfast and the hotel looks like a familiar house. Clean room and romantic restaurant. Great experience for couples.

We stopped here for a night on our way back to Brussels from Hockenheim. Great location. Not the friendliest staff. Hard to figure out where to go in to check into the hotel.
