This was my second time back to Naxos and both times we stayed here, and i would stay again if i went back. the bathrooms were a bit dark and basic which was fine, because we didn't spend much time in our hotel rooms, with the beach being right on our doorstep, if you love the beach this is the ideal... The plus of this hotel is that it is right on the beach in a great location 5 min walk to town. They do offer pickup from town which was reliable for us. The room is spacy but basic with and old/rundown feel. Bathroom tiny and with the old curtain you dont want to touch water gets all over the... More

Great location right on beach yet also very close to amenities of the town. View from balcony was lovely and the thoughtfully provided washing line and pegs was helpful. The room itself was basic and the bathroom dated but everything worked! The bed however was rock hard so hard that you could have been sleeping on the floor! The staff... More

This is a fairly basic hotel and we were okay with that when we booked it. It has a great location, right on the beach. And while not a luxury hotel, we enjoyed watching the sunset from our balcony. But I have to rate this hotel as poor simply on how uncomfortable this bed was. I've never experienced something so... More

Admittedly, Naxos had a lot to live up to as we were arriving from Milos which had totally captivated us. So we were less than pleased when the promised free transfer from the ferry was non-existent and we had to cab it instead. Then the man at the desk proceeded to argue with us that the hotel car was at... More

I was nervous about this hotel because it was rated by my travel agent with 2 stars. But it was perfect for us! We loved the prime location right on the beach at Agios Georgios, and the "short walk" to town was nothing. The Asteria is at the beach end of the main street through town, so as soon as... More

Great views over the beach , and a good place to stay to explore the town , Smallish rooms and bathrooms , but great to have a fridge and balcony . We thought the beach ( Aghios giorgious) was rather dirty though , and much preferred the beautiful one at Aghios propokious about 20 minutes walk away . Breakfast was... More

Plus: -The hotel is situated very nicely close to the beach. Just exit through the balcony exit and walk 10 meters and you are right at the beach. At the same time it is in the city centre with short distances to everything. -Fast and well functioning free wifi at the hotel with good range. You can actually surf the... More

Asteria Hotel was perfect for us, and location couldn't be better!. It's located right on St. George beach and we felt a good value at 60 euro per night for a double in July (70 euro for triple). Our rooms were simple, but comfortable and clean with lovely views and balconies overlooking the sea. Rooms seemed spatious enough for two... More

This hotel wasn't really what we expected from what we saw in the web site, so keep that in mind. The rooms were a bit small, and somewhat spartan. The bathroom is REALLY small, but big enough for two people. What makes up for it though is the balcony with a table and a couple chairs with the view of... More
