Second time at this hotel. The food in 2004 was poor but the hotel was lovely. In 2012 the hotel is still lovely, the staff are great, the hotel is clean and pleasant at all times. Loved the position, the room, the pool is fantastic...But the food is still a let down. The menu was difficult to understand with long... More

Delightful family run friendly hotel. All staff were excellent. No request was too much trouble - they even arranged our return ferry crossing. We travelled with my parents and children aged 12-14. All three rooms were beautifully clean and well furnished. The family rooms were very spacious and, if you pay the extra for a view, you certainly won't be... More

We have very recently returned from a one week’ s stay at this charming Hotel ideally located between the Old Town, Aragonese Castle, and the newer Marina area with all its restaurants, Cafe’s and boutique shops. On arrival the Hotel reception were very friendly and attentive always ready to give advice and answer a query, even though at times there... More

The hotel is situated in the heart of town yet by being set beside a park and between the nbeach and the thoroughfare it actually was quiet. The approach to the hotel could be more picturesque but it's worth bearing in mind that the island is a step back in time. The island's roads are tight and hilly so don't expect... More

I have just returned from 1 weeks holiday at this hotel and whilst the hotel was very nice and was also very clean there were two problems which marred the holiday somewhat. Most of the staff on the reception had only a limited understanding of English and the two operatives in the Wellness Centre didn't understand English at all. OK... More

Having spent 3 weeks in Italy and staying in 4 star hotels in sorrento, Positano and Rome this is more like a 3 star hotel. No wifi, Internet costing E8 an hour to hire! No bath robes. The beach link with the other resort costs E7 each!! Tv only has italian cable, no BBC world even! The reception don't talk... More

My Mum and I have just returned from a relaxing 1 week stay at the Villa Durrueli in Ischia. Well placed for both the 'Ponte' (Castello Aragonese) and the 'Porto' (Port with excellent high end shopping street), the Hotel is in a residential area. Cutting through the pleasant park at the side of the hotel cuts out about 10 minutes... More

We have just returned from our first holiday to the beautiful island of Ischia where we stayed at the Villa Durrueli. Staying at this this hotel was the most peaceful & relaxing holiday that we have ever been on. The public areas & bedrooms were spotlessly clean and this cleanliness was maintained at all times by the friendly and polite... More
