My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights while touring Sicily. We decided to use Sciacca as our base for visiting the ruins at Selinunte and Agrigento, and we chose Locanda al Moro based in large part on its location in the old upper town (that and the positive reviews it has received). Our room was comfortable and well-decorated... More

Al Moro is centrally located in Sciacca. You are in the middle of the town inside the old town walls. We found the staff very helpful to find parking, beaches, restaurants etc. ur room for 3 was not very large but all other aspects of the B&B were good. What we also likeed was the town itself. Almost no ther... More

Be carefull, her administartion isn't all it could be. After a dreadfull journey trying to find this place, I rang Kahla for some help. I was told I didn't have a reservation despite the emails I have from her to prove the opposite :-( Sounds a nice place but probably worth confirming close to your visit... More

Traveled to Sicily with my wife for my godson's first birthday celebration. We absolutely loved this very authentic and ancient city and especially appreciated this hidden gem of a hotel. Sciacca is a city that has been influenced over thousands of years by many cultures i.e. Roman, Norman, and the Moors. The hotel is built in an ancient Moorish tower... More

Stayed here in Oct 2009 with partner, his sister and her partner for a night. Driving into Sciacca was no mean feat but once we found this place we were thrilled. We ended up parking in some side street and walking with suitcases the last few hundred metres to a very warm and practical welcome. Two lovely clean, comfortable double... More

We had not booked anywhere to stay between Trapani and Syracuse and we decided that Sciacca was a good stop over point. We found this place in a travel guide and we were not disappointed. Apart from the hair raising drive up narrow alleys (as directed by the sat nav!!) when we arrived at the B&B we were pleasantly surprised.... More

This hotel was wonderful - clean, modern, and a great price. Also had a very nice included breakfast - better than that at the more expensive hotel we stayed at in another city. More

Al Moro was the second hotel we stayed in in Sicily. After the first one in a small seaside town, we were at first daunted at the prospect of trying to find Al Moro, but we should not have worried. We saw several signs directing us to its street, not a paved one for cars, but a stairway leading up... More

When were looking for a B&B in Sciacca we found this perl of a B&B. It is located in an old Moorish tower. A very nice german lady from Bavaria is the owner of the place. She gave us useful hints for example on where to park our car. The hotel on the inside is futuristic regarding the infrastructure and... More

We have just returned from a 10 week trip to Italy, France, the UK and Sarawak and would like to share one of our wonderful experiences. The Al Moro is a B&B in a renovated 13th century Moorish tower in the centre of the old town of Sciacca. After following the abundant signs directing us to Al Moro we found... More
