This is being critically written as it was supposedly going be refurbished prior to 2011, but this has not been done. Thus just pointing out some rather bad points this time, which hopefully will be fixed in due course. Corridors smelt of drains at various points, stained carpets. The lobby odour is still there. We stayed here in September 2011. +'s Location perfect for the beach, all restaurants, bars and entertainment. Food superb with lots of variety. Spotless. Towels changed daily. We stayed at the Tucan hotel in August2011 and had a fantastic time. When we arrived the staff were very friendly and the place was lovely and clean. The rooms were basic but very clean. The food was delicious and lots of variety. I would definitely recommend this hotel. More

HoteL, d'Or Tucan is not a 4*. There is no Porter to show you your room on arrival, just 1 Receptionist who nods towards the way to go.
