Stumbled across Finca de las Salinas whilst travelling around Lanzarote and in desperate need of a bed to sleep in. We arrived during Siesta time and despite waking the manager up he was friendly, helpful and informative. The hotel has a lovely rustic charm and we were made to feel very welcome and relaxed. The rooms surround the pool with... More

This hotel also operates some lovely rustic apartments outside of Yaiza, known als Casa Vista Salinas, right on the edge of the lava fields and with a nice view of the mountains. Very good place to relax out in the country, away from all the tourist hassle. Rooms are rustic but nice and clean, you feel like you're living in... More

Stayed here for 5 nights, staff are lovely, and the hotel is very stylish, but it could do with a lick of paint! Word of arning though, Yaiza village is very quiet, no nightlife really, so prepare to get taxis if you are planning on going out in the evenings.

My husband and I recently spent two weeks at Finca de las Salinas (January 20 - February 3). We found just what we had hoped for: a quiet, traditional hotel with charm and personality away from the tourist crowds. When we arrived though, we found the room small and not very comfortable for two weeks stay. We were offered a... More

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Finca de las Salinas, Yaiza. Our stay was 1 week from 28 January, 2012, so this review has a winter context. A few days before we arrived I sent an email asking if there is internet access but received no reply. In the event there was free internet access in the hotel... More

We stayed here mid November 2011 for what was meant to be a 10 night stay. To be fair it was a mistake to pick this hotel with a 10 month old child and our homework hadn't been done properly as it was our first holiday as parents. BUT that said certain things apply to every visitor. Don't know where... More

The main house is a XVIII century traditional building, passed down from father to son since generations, with a dependance (20 rooms altogether), a new spa, a tennis court. It's a countryhouse, one minute away from the centre of the little town of Yaiza. It's only ten minutes away from Timanfaya Natural Park (by car) and not too far from... More

We had done quite a bit of research into our trip away in February as I am suffering from cancer and this was to be a break of total relaxation. After our long journey we arrived at around 6.30 only to be told there was no refreshment available as it was Sunday. We were not impressed with this nor had... More

We stayed here for the last night of our holiday, after a week self catering - Good base for visiting dramatic western coastline. We were upgraded to a suite which was fantastic, great big wooden shuttered windows, views of the mountains, a terrace and lovely old furniture - I kept expecting some Spanish colonial era aristocrats to waltz in at... When we arrived at the hotel we were tired and in need of a good nights sleep and having not reseved in advance, we were relieved that there were rooms available. Although we had an issue with our first room being damp, management dealt with this swiftly and proffessionally and we were moved to a very pleasant room which was... More
