Just back from a short break at the Tryp Cambrils Port, Nice modern Hotel, friendly efficient staff, WiFi in all areas, Good breakfast and a very pleasant and visible Manager. This hotel is about 200m from the beach and Marina. Cambrils is a very nice small town with plenty of very good restaurants, cafes and bars. Highly recommended. More

Room was clean and comfortable but as hotel was three quarters empty--not sure why we were given accommodation overlooking railway line on outside windy corner of building.Sauna was unusable --not switched on and the entire "spa area"was dark , cold and stank of drains.This hotel is functional but not warm and welcoming .You would not want to spend time relaxing... Went with family at end of September 2011. The hotel is clean and bright, a bit more functional than comfy. Rooms are good size with nice bathrooms which are stocked with shampoo and shower creme. I enjoyed my stay with the family in this hotel, it's a few blocks walking distance from the beach and from the port. The swimming pool was nice for my son and staff was friendly and helpful. the breakfast buffet had plenty to choose from, even a person doing on-demand omelets and churros! More
