Hotel is very minimal. The rooms are quite unpleasant. The furniture is dated, as is the carpet. The bathroom was equally unpleasant and not the cleanest. On the positive side, the bed was reasonable. The hotel staff was unkind and unhelpful. Try to avoid this hotel if you have a choice. More

I booked it over e-mail. You can directly write to them and they respond pretty quickly. I stayed there 3 nights during a conference trip. Superb location, between railway station and funicular - both being within 3 min walk. Rooms are OK. Entrance is sidewise, not opening to the road beside- so you need to ask somebody first time. “The most awful dive I have ever experienced - nowhere close to 3*”

This hotel is situated next to a supermarket and is typified by a heavy reek of tobacco and a motley collection of locals slouched over the Ferrari bar.
