We - five friends travelling together in late October - warmly recommend the place both for its location and its qualities. Tesserete is a pretty village located in a wonderful valley with an abundance of exceptional walking opportunities. The village itself is beautiful, with several nice buildings and restaurants. We came across this small hotel by chance. It calls itself "Hotel Garni", i.e. without a restaurant, although it looks (and feels) more like an upscale B&B -- it has just nine rooms.
