“Memorable”

I am always amazed at the rather snobby value in these reviews....are people really that concerned whether they get Crabtree and Evelyn or Avon. It is a sad world!! Anyway enough. Great place...great food...lovely rooms. Only improvement could be the poached eggs.....the vinegar quiff would be an improvement plus scrambled eggs overcooked....should be slightly runny. Sorry...had a good stay.

“Enjoyable stay !”

Nice clean room, lovely food and great service from all the staff. Great value for money as we had a special deal for a March stay. Not too sure I would pay full rate for an overnight stay however would definitely come back here again on a similar offer.

Many thanks for your feedback. I apologise for the grit and the size of the Scallops, we only use fresh Scallops and as a result their sizes do tend to vary. We've also changed the Scallop offering on our new Inn season and now offer the Scallop with a spring onion and Smoked Haddock risotto, which is proving very popular.... More
