We stayed a night in one of the up, market Stable suites. Both of us were overwhelmed by the dust of the antiques and curtains, so much so I couldn’t stop sneezing and my wife’s eyes were red from the irritation. The service was excellent and the rooms well appointed but the upkeep seems to have let them down. A... More

Thank you very much for your constructive criticism. I do apologise that your stay with us was not up to the standard I expect for my guests. I believe the problem regarding the dust was due to the open fire. During the winter months the Stable Suites are the most popular and unfortunately the fireplaces do sometimes smoke and cause... My wife and I stayed here on 25th April as part of a trip to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. I couldn't think of a nicer place to stay! We were lucky enough to have the Yeringberg room which was simply beautiful. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The dinner we had in the restaurant was of the highest... More

We had driven past this place for years, without knowing to much about what was behind the trees ...Then recently a friend told us about it, so we popped in and had a look...Wow....So we booked an overnight package and dinner... Not cheap but unbelievably first class in every way. The ambience says it all, add to that the professionalism... More

This was our second stay at Chateau Yering, and, while there was a business element this time, the stay was nearly every bit as exceptionally good. The weather could have been warmer, but at least it didn't rain. While waiting in the sitting room, enjoying the crackling log fire in the fireplace, I learned that it was the first time... More

Aesthetically the hotel is an odd mixture. From the outside it looks like a colonial farmhouse. Inside it looks like an English stately home. It is not a cheap place to stay but the quality of the accommodation is of a very high standard. Our only criticism was that there were clearly insufficient staff in the restaurant so the service... My wife and I stayed here over Easter weekend, a real treat! Eleonore restaurant was fabulous, From the awesome staff to the incredible cheese trolley, definitely recommend and we are self confessed foodies. Our room was huge, very cosily furnished with the little welcoming touches you would expect from a five star property. We used to spend our long weekends... More

We enjoyed a lovely High Tea in Eleonore's restaurant.. the food was delicious, the surroundings elegant and calm and the staff were friendly and obliging. Altogether a very enjoyable afternoon. The Yarra Valley is beautiful and there are many attractions and fanastic wineries to visit nearby.

The breakfast service was appalling to wait for 15 minutes plus for a tea and coffee and there was no bread or juice they need to lift their game before I would recommend this place to anyone and when we complained the staff were rude

With 3 children and a business to run our lifestyle is classed as busy to say the least! My husband and I try to claim a few weekends a year that we can call our own and we love to get away to Chateau Yering. It's a wonderfully indulgent weekend, where we are spoilt with wonderful attention by staff, delicious... More

The Yarra Valley is often overlooked by people who visit the more well-known wine regions of Barossa and MacLaren Vale. They are missing out on a superb wine experience in the beautiful Yarra Valley, and there is no a better place to make as your headquarters when you do make a trip to the Yarra Valley than Ch. Yering. Indeed,... More
