We try to get to Sugar Tree Inn as often as we can. We went there for our honeymoon and fell in love immediately. The innkeepers have become very dear to us. It truly is our favorite place. The rooms are so cozy. It's just beautiful, calm and serene. The perfect get-a-way.

Sugar Tree Inn is one of the nicest B&Bs you'll ever find...! My friend and I had travelled from NJ to drive Skyline Drive in Virginia and then continue on the Blue Ridge Parkway. We hadn't booked the first night's accommodation, and Sugar Tree Inn was recommended in the guide book we were using. Fortunately, they had a room free... More

My wife and I spent Valentines Day weekend at Sugartree. This was about our 8th visit and we were treated to very gracious hosts who truly went above and beyond this weekend. Saturday afternoon brought a surprise 5-6 inches of snow. Several guests had left the mountain top getaway and made their way back to the Inn. Jeff (Innkeeper) spent... More

We stayed in the Creek House. Secluded from the main building and a wonderful place for peace and quiet. Beds were comfortable. Got 4-6 inches of snow during our vacation and the staff ensured the roads were cleaned up so guests could leave if they chose too. Recommend this location for anyone wanting a quiet vacation spot.

We stayed at the Sugar Tree Inn for 2 nights and it was wonderful! The accomodations were so comfortable and we had everything we needed including a wood fireplace in our room. The food was delicious. We had dinner 2 nights and enjoyed the duck and trout one night and the chicken on the other night. Breakfast each morning was... More

We stayed here again, this time for Thanksgiving. The hosts offered a deal that included a Thanksgiving dinner. The stay was very relaxing and the hikes were great. The dinner was very nice. The place is convenient to St May's wilderness trail, which was nice with lots of river crossings. In the other direction is Spy Rock which was a... More

Beyond paradise! We have lodged in the finest hotels and resorts around the world... and Sugar Tree Inn is one of the nicest of them all! Actually, we've stayed here for something like 12 nights in one year! I'm an author, speaker, and leader of hundreds... with tremendous responsibility. What I love about Sugar Tree the most, is the total... More

My husband and I were part of a larger hiking group that spent 3 nights at Sugar Tree. What a wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable including a fireplace and king bed that was very comfortable (we were in CrabTree Falls room). Service was excellent - food was excellent. Views off the front porch were great especially with a... More

As part of my wife and my holiday in New York and Virginia we stayed two nights at the Sugar Tree Inn in St Mary's cabin. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time. The cabin was of the highest standard, breakfast was excellent (special mention must be made of the baked oatmeal!), and Jeff and Becky went out of their way... More

This is a lovely place to stay, tucked away in the woods of Virginia, a short drive from the Blue Ridge Skyline Drive.. We were made very welcome on arrival and given our snack box, which we had ordered a few days before as there are no restauarants nearby. Our room was in a building just a short walk from... More
