3 star hotels in our mind don't have the ceiling of the bathroom falling in, rust on the fixtures, roofing nails to hold the laminate on the half painted bathroom door and ac that doesn't work. We did ask to change rooms because of the ac and the front desk was kind. You could feel the metal springs through the... More

My husband and I were looking for an affordable room for a 1 night stay in the area. We had room 145 (a handicap accessible room) and it was clean and spacious. Some things were dated and could have used some repair...ie. lighting and walls in the bathroom and near the front window but it was an overall good room... More

A friend I was traveling with found this inexpensive hotel about five minutes from the Visitor Center to Colonial Williamsburg. At first I was apprehensive on why it was so inexpensive for the Williamsburg area but decided to give it a chance. I would like to note that we were there midweek (Wed and Thurs nights) at the end of... More

I am so glad i decided to go one step higher than the likes of Econo lodge, days inn, travelodge etc. Its really worth paying a few dollars more, as there is a notable difference. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable, the staff really helpful, the breakfast better than average and there is free parking and wireless.... More

Definitely and older hotel. I give the two ladies at the front desk a 5. They were so nice . . . greeted you as you came and went, speedy check in and check out, full of information about the area. We had a room on the second floor. Overall the room was clean except for the stains on the... More

Decent sized room, clean, convenient - and cheap. Who could ask for more? The breakfast area is spacious and the food looked ok - but there were two buses full of teenagers staying during our visit. For sanity's sake we went to the IHOP down the street. Front desk staff was friendly and efficient. It is NOT the Williamsburg Lodge,... More

We don't think you need to stay in the so- called official hotels when visiting Williamsburg as this clean spacious alternative hotel is right next to the historic area and much less in price. Our room was a king with a desk and wardrobe and dresser, and bathroom had large counter area and was under $60. There was no fridge... More

I agree with other reviews, that this hotel is a great value for your money. It is the first set of hotels right off of Route 132. It is situated right around everything you need. Colonial Williamsburg is 5 minutes away and Busch gardens is ten minutes. Go the other direction up from the hotel and you have your choice... More

Hotel was clean. Rooms were on the larger side and bedroom and bathroom were clean. The breakfast is not very good. If you are a light eater, it is fine as they have the usual, yogurt, waffles, bagel, boiled eggs, sausage gravy. There are restaurants within walking and driving distance. 5 minute drive to prime outlets. Busch Gardens is also... More

We stayed here four nights over Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel is older yet in decent shape. Pros Location, location, location! We were less than a 5 minute drive to Colonial WIlliamsburg. Room was a good size and beds were comfortable. Lighting was good. Though the hotel was pretty full, it was quiet. I felt the parking lot was very well... More
