The Woodlands Hotel is the perfect place to stay while going to Colonial Williamsburg. It is literally a 3 minute walk to the visitor center, so very convenient. The hotel itself is nicely decorated in a neo-colonial style. The rooms are nice, although there is not much room for walking around. We had two double beds, a pullout arm chair,... More

This was such a nice hotel, the people made it such a nice place to stay. the staff welcomed our students and made it a great trip. I like it because it is so easy to just walk where ever we wanted to go. I will plan to stay at this hotel again. Thank you More

My family & I enjoyed our stay. We were picked up from the Amtrak station by the hotels car service and was greeted & pampered with doors being opened, baggage's hauled away . Loved the shuttle services provided to & from the Historic area & Busch Gardens the drivers were every friendly & helpful. The Continental breakfast was great everything... More

Was impressed by the service and location. The rooms are well furnished- lovely toiletries and comfy beds. The shuttle to Williamsburg is next door at the visitor's centre. Pleasant surprise was the free delivery of purchases to the hotel. If you buy anything from the gift shop in the visitor centre they deliver it to the hotel, which saves carrying... More

This hotel was perfect for our family of 4. We stayed in a suite that had plenty of room for our daughters to sleep and play in the living room area while my husband and I slept in the bedroom. The hotel is so convenient to Colonial Williamsburg, the Visitor's Center, and the shuttle bus service. We had our car,... More

Who said this is out of the way? Of WHAT?!?!? You can walk to Col Wmsburg if you're not too lazy from there, right across the bridge if you like. You walk from the hotel to the Visitor's center, and pick up shuttles that take you all over the historic sites, free. It's VERY convenient. It's not the Inn or... More

Thought it to be out of the way a bit, but turned out to be a great place for us as a couple but would be a great place to bring the grandkids back to. Shuttles to nearby stuff and some nice on-site recreation keeps this place on our list. Very friendly staff. More

The room was very clean. The grounds were quiet and well kept. The hotel is a great location very close to the Visitor's Center and shuttles to Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. If you arrive by AMTRAK, they have a hotel shuttle that will pick you up and drop you off. Their breakfast is the basic continental with two hot... More

We have visited Williamsburg several times in the past but did not realize that there was a hotel adjacent to the visitor center and close to the Colonial Williamsburg. First, I want to say that staff was very helpful. The free wifi is very good even from the pool area. The suite is somewhat inferior to the Marriott spring hill... More

We just returned from a great trip to Williamsburg, Va. We stayed at the older Cascades Motel in this complex. We enjoyed our stay. Rates are lower than the Woodlands as this is the older, original site. Stayed here in the past as a youngster and then later as a young adult. Quiet area. Restful and close to the Historic... More
