April 4 2012 - Brought a friend from Alaska out to Carson HS for a soak and a wrap. I had a gift certificate that was still valid (according to the date) however I was told I could not use it because of a change in ownership. We decided to stay because we were there and had made the drive... More

If you're looking for a therapeutic, rustic and relaxing experience, you'll be in the right place. The linens were new, clean and comfortable. The tubs were the same old clawfoots with room to spare and the hottest water you could want. Comments concerning the faucets don't take into account that the water is full of minerals including sulpher which isn't... More

The Hotel rooms are new, rather dark despite the window and kind of stuffy, unless you use the very loud fan hooked up on the "radiator." More importantly there are no refrigerators. They started at $75 which is a pretty normal price but still seemed overpriced to us. There wasn't a soul there (Mon and Tues) but they should at... More

Fortunately, the new owners are in bankruptcy to save you from visiting this filthy establishment. The golf course closed and kept the money of it's members. The bath house is a good place to come away with some type of of bacteria that could cause you an expensive trip to the doctor. Wear gloves in the reception area and do... More

It is a great cozy place to stay and the spa. massage and food are great. The cabins are small but clean and neat. They even smell clean. This place cares about their customers. They have Fantastic food. We stayed the night and had a massage and went to their bath spa. I have horrible arthritis. But did not feel... More

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Carson Mineral Hot Springs Resort. This is an authentic early American Bathhouse, distinctively original, and quite delightful. The Bathhouse is separated with Men on one side and Women on the other. After undressing, I was escorted, wrapped in a towel, to one of the old 6ft long claw foot bath tubs... More

This is a very old place but in recent years the lodging has been rebuilt and is very nice. Whast is not nice is the oh so original spa/mineral bath area. they use the word "Spa" loosely as the mineral water is all they have going for them and even that is not a lot. First you pay to go... More

First off I am a male and never have written a review. It amazes me how these people whine and cry about the condition of this place...what do you expect, it is in fact an old resort. For the price, it is unbeatable, but if you are paying a quarter of the price that you would spend anywhere else do... More

I've been going to Carson for 20 years now. You can still get a good massage there - that's the positive thing - the masseuses are really good - but the bathhouse has been let go and is in such horrible shape that it is just plain creepy inside. The floorboards are rotten, the showers curtains around your old cast-iron... More

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and though the place is not fancy i had been there years before and knew what to expect...I think for the price you get a fine service. Personally I have stayed up the road at a way fancier facility and their service is deplorable. At this point Carson hotsprings is my go to... More
