We stayed one night in a 2-person cabin. Having been prepared for no electricity, we were pleasantly surprised. An employee took us to our cabin and showed us how everything worked and provided us with a lighter for the lights. The cabin was roomy with plenty of table and shelf space. It was immaculate and comfortable. They didn't tell us... More

Trying to get as close as possible to Mt. St. Helens, we were intrigued by the idea of an off-the-grid cabin on the access road. Our clean and comfortable cabin featured a lovely back yard with a porch to enjoy it, gas lighting - a bit dim for reading but rather quaint, a clean outhouse with hot water and a... More

We visited Eco Park mid-May of 2012, during our 10 day trip around western Washington. Our hosts Mark, Dawn and James provided us with amazing hospitality. It was a fun experience to stay somewhere with no electricity or phone service! The cabin was comfortable and while it only came with a double bed and two bunks, the sleeping experience was... More

We had a fabulous time at Eco Park Resort. Its rustic charm and cozy cabins are to say the least Amazing! Never seems crowded and the park was full of guests. This place was a great find. We just drove in to check it out and fell in love with its charm and appeal. The main lodge is the Backwoods... More

This was our favorite place to stay the whole trip! We went during a more off season so we actually had the whole park to ourselves (minus the owners). It was very relaxing and great to get away from every day world noises. No electricity in the cabins, but that was not a bother to us. They have lights and... More

We chose Eco Park for its proximity to Mt. Saint Helens and for its unique rustic cabin-style lodging. We couldn't face dealing with a boring highway chain as we stepped into the massive natural beauty of the Mt. St. Helen's area. Eco Park met our needs entirely. The cabins are sweet and rustic (propane lights and heat -- which we... More

I'm so glad that we stayed at Eco Park! Most of the accommodations in the vicinity of Mt St Helens are back in Castle Rock, which is over an hour drive to the Johnson Observatory at MP 52 (end of the road). Eco Park is halfway up the mountain and made visiting the rest of the mountain so much easier.... More

Set up our tent there for two nights. Got a nice spot under some trees. Even though this was the 4th of July weekend, the campground didn't feel crowded or noisy. Loved having a clean, hot shower available. Also liked the restaurant, but ended up eating there only once because of the inconvenient (for us) opening hours (9am-6pm). A previous... More

This is a lovely campground for tenting – picturesque, well maintained and in a great location if you’re visiting Mount Saint Helens National Monument. Each of the handful of sites is grassy and spacious, giving you the option of pitching your tent in the open or under the shade of trees. The sites are so private that you will probably... More

We stayed here one night. We really enjoyed the adventure. Make sure that you fill up with gas and bring some food along because the food at the cafe is really expensive. The staff was friendly and told us that we could hike on the horse trails to see the mudflows. They even gave us sandwhich bags to collect some... More
