Carl and Sue were very good to us. The house is beautiful and relaxing and the cooking was great. We had met other interesting guests in a nice environment. The B&B is right down teh road from Moran State Park, which is beautiful. Amazing amount of beautiful hiking and mountain biking in the area. Highly recommended. Note, cell phones will... More

The Inn keepers were very accommodating going above and beyond to provide us a place to stay. We called the Inn keepers at 9pm from the main land ferry landing, they waited for us to arrive way past midnight. WOW thank you so much. On our way to the Inn we took some time to read some of the reviews... More

My wife and I stayed for two nights in mid-March. As a travel agent, I'm pretty careful about what I recommend, but I can indeed recommend this wonderful bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Bluebird room, the only one without an ensuite bath. The bath is just beside the door, and even though the house was full, we never... More

My husband were looking for a long weekend getaway from Texas and Carl and Susan's bed and breakfast was the perfect fit. We stayed in the Swan room...the bed was so comfortable, I almost hated to get up. But of course, one had to get up to enjoy the delicious gourmet breakfast we were served. I especially loved the peppered... More

Carl and Susan are the perfect hosts: friendly, warm, more than knowledgeable about the area, and determined to fill you up with delicious breakfasts! We stayed in the Goldfinch room – no view of the pond, but we could always sit on the deck and enjoy the view from there. The room was cozy, tastefully furnished, with a comfy bed... More

This is a beautiful B&B. The deck is gorgeous and so is the pond. It was really nice to spend time outside watching all of the birds and looking at the pond and the ducks. The only thing we didn't like were all the rules. When we arrived it was my birthday and I was so tired I just wanted... More

Thank you again for your stay with us last July. We were sad to hear of your concern with our house policies as being too cumbersome. For future guests reading this, we try very concertedly to not have onerous rules, but we do have a very few items incoming guests hear about and they are: how to get in the... More

We were looking for a place to stay for our anniversary/birthday celebrations that we were unable to celebrate in the summer. We saw a Living Social deal with Otters Pond on Orcas Island and decided to try it. Having never been to a bed and breakfast we were unsure of what to expect but happily it turned out to be... More

Stayed two nights in the swan room. Hiked around the island to various points and returned to this gem overlooking the otter's pond. Many different ducks and birds on the pond. Bring binoculars! For here and the view from mt. Constitution. Great visit can't wait to come back

Spent a couple of nights in Spring 2012. We city folks really enjoyed the peace and quiet. The village of East Sound is located nearby offering sumptious dining experiences. A sunset dinner at the legendary Rosario Resort overlooking Cascade Bay is not to be missed. We opted for the Goldfinch room and were pleasantly surprised by the lovely furnishings (including... We stayed here for a couple of nights in the Hummingbird room during our recent weekend trip to Orcas Island. The room had a comfy bed with a large spacious bathroom (no bathtub in this particular room we stayed in which I point out in case that is important to you). The grounds were very serene with a lovely pond... More
