Stayed in the lodge rooms for 3 nites. The staff were fun and helpful. Room was basic but roomy and clean with a great view. Restaurant had a good atmosphere also with great views. Lodge food was very good if a little pricey. Nice sitting area with fireplace for evening chats. Best prices on souvenirs we found. The view is... More

Our stay in the Macy cabin was amazing. The 2 bedroom cabin was rustic and comfortable. A big brick fireplace with wood, which is provided, added to the romance. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, just bring you're own food and paper towels. Our semi private yard faced the ocean and has a picnic table on the grass and... More

We have enjoyed numerous trips to Kalaloch for family outings. This time we spent Mother's Day weekend at Kalaloch, staying In adjacent log cabins. The cabins are rustic, clean, warm, and provided lots of room for our evening family activities. Our cabins each had two queen beds, a small bathroom with shower, a wood burning Franklin stove, and a kitchenette... More

this establishment appears to be monopolizing on their stellar location. the beach is fantastic for long walks, but the cabins do not merit their price. they are clean and provide for basic amenities, but are really just a step up from camping: no decor, very spartan, poorly laid out and uncomfortable for the groups they promise to accommodate. sleeper sofa... Other parts of the Olympic National Park get more attention but do not overlook the part of the park that runs along the Washington coast. Kalaloch (pronounced Clay-lock) sits on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific and has scenery to spare. The resort has cabins that are no-frills but give you excellent views of the ocean. There is easy access to... More

Beautifully located and fun to stop in to, but this is no El Tovar or Ahwahnee even though it is a Delaware North property as I think the other National Park hotels are. The cabin was adequate but we got wet kindling and never got the fire going. No Internet and no TV so no fire is critical! We had... More

After reading multiple reviews on Kalaloch Lodge, my husband and I decided to stay in the main lodge. I cannot stress this strongly enough: DEFINITELY request a 2nd floor room with an ocean view. The views from our bedroom were stunning. I've never birded, or viewed wildlife from my hotel bed, so this was a novel experience! We saw bald... More

This was an amazing place to stay! Easy check-in and we went to our cabin #24 which was conveniently located with easy access to the beach and had ocean view. Obviously the ocean views, beaches and nearby rainforests are the reason people visit the area, yet we found the Lodge to be very comfortable, clean, and well furnished. It seems that since the new management company took over last year service has very much improved (young, eager and smiling employees). The restaurant is quite pricey (well, it is the only... More
