This is a basic, no-frills family motel in center of town. Queen beds only; room included small table, desk, microwave and fridge--which I had to disconnect at bedtime due to "gurgling" noise. Shower water strength was minimal and towels were a bit threadbare. Staff was friendly enough and offered room discount due to cancellations, but I think still overpriced for... More

I am a member of the Pacific Northwest Chapter of the Rainbow Division Veterans Memorial Foundation. All of our veterans were in infantry combat during WWII. Our chapter has been holding semiannual reunions at the Long Beach Super 8 Motel for over 20 years. 20 years ago the reunions were attended by well over 100 people. Our April reunion this... More

Room was way overpriced and a bit dirty. Should be closer to $55 a night. I understand it is a beach sommunity, the dirt in this room could have been cleaned up. I LIKE Super 8, however would never stay at this one again. Owner was unprofessional and did not reflect Super 8 reputation at all. very disappointed. More

We stayed for 3 nights. Have stayed there since they opened sometime in the 1990's. First, David, Andi and Kristina, at the front dest, are all very helpful, kind and considerate. A wonderful asset to Super 8. We stayed on the third floor. Our room was spacious and confortable, especially the bed and pillows. The furniture is older, and we... More

This hotel was a bit cheaper than the others close by, but was still outrageous for a Super 8. $100 for a Super 8 is crazy no matter where it is. This isn't that ritzy of a town, this should be $59.99 a night. Now the best part: the room had a bit of a doggy smell to it. I... More

I probably would have rated this a bit higher if I felt like I received a good value BUT the room rate was extrememly overpriced for a very minimal two star (at best) room. $179 a night plus $15.00 pet fee x2 (BTW, pet fees are expected so i'm ok with that) plus taxes and fees came to $461 for... The linens are decidedly at the end of their service life, the pillows were lumpy, the sheets shin and worn. There is no air conditioning and no air flow through the room so it was warm and very stuffy. The breakfast menu consists of carbohydrates. There are breads, two types of cereal, Fruit Loops and Raisin Bran, and a waffle... More

We stayed at the Super 8 in Long Beach for one night at the end of June in 2011. This was the first stop on a 5 day road trip down the Oregon Coast HWY 101. We arrived to a very friendly and helpful staff member who told us all we needed to know about the hotel. Of our entire... More
