We had a great time at the national park inn! I felt like I was coming down with a cold and tea time by the fireplace with fresh baked scones cured me! Everyone working there was extremely friendly and seemed to enjoy their job but Renee really went above and beyond. She gave us valuable advice about where else to... More

Most people wanting to stay within the park at Mt Rainier will opt for Paradise. Having stayed at both Paradise and the National Park Inn now multiple times I can assure you that the National Park Inn is by far the better choice. It's "cozy" in all the right ways. And sitting out on that front porch with a glass... More

We had originally planned to stay at the Paradise Lodge but a heavy snowfall caused us to select the National Park Inn instead. Only room left was a handicap room but it was fine. The lodge is not luxurious but is clean and comfortable. The staff is unbelievable and quite friendly. Because of the unexpected snowfall they were working long... More

We drove to Mt. Rainier, on our way out passed by this inn because we were hungry. We had burgers and the pot roast melt sandwhich. Nothing special, waitress was nice but service was really slow. We waited 20-30 min for the food. Price range is $9-15. If i would do it again, i would bring food for the trip... More

We were a group of six seniors taking advantage of the Stay and Play package. From the moment we walked up to the desk to check in, Rene and the rest of the staff went way beyond the call of duty to help us. They supplied weather reports and snowshoeing advice as well as ice and glasses for our groups... More

I really with the USA would take a clue from Canada where in their national parks they allow 4 and 5 star resorts to be built. Jasper, Banff, and Lake Louise are prime examples of this. In America, we build as cheaply as possible and fail to maintain it just in hopes of earning a buck. Sad. The National Park... More

We were there to enjoy the snow and go snowshoeing, and to enjoy the quietness of the inn and the park. The two-for-one offer is a very good deal, and we go there at least twice a year. We enjoyed the view from our room - it couldn't be any better, even with the snow that's piled up. The staff... More

We enjoyed our stay at the National Park Inn. They have a cozy tea / game room with a fireplace and lovely homemade scones every afternoon. You can sit on the terrace and look out at Mt Rainer. I share the reviews of others who stayed here recently. The two-for-one special makes this a pretty sweet deal. It's a cozy lodge with small but comfortable rooms, a very friendly staff. The 4 or 5 other guests were friendly and we shared experiences in the evening in the lounge, which has games and puzzles, and a roaring fire. The... More

We wanted to snowshoe this winter at the Mt. Rainier National Park. The National Park Inn is the only accommodation within the park boundaries at this time of year. The reviews of the inn found on tripadvisor made me hesitate to make reservations for the inn, in particular the 2009 mention of bedbugs and the terrible meals at the inn's... More
