The main purpose for my trip was to find a place that could accommodate a group of 9 people, was in close proximity to mt. baker for us to go snowboarding, and would offer a quaint cabin feel that was remote and unique from the typical condos and hotels, and in good faith for an affordable price. Considering that i only... More

We paid about $160 for one night in the Glacier Suite. While the owner was very nice, there were pastries and fresh fruit available I do not think that the state of the accommodation or the view of Mt. Baker were worth the price. I think that $100 would have been a more appropriate price.

We stayed in the Alpenglow suite, in our case the two seperate rooms, with bathroom and laundry on a lower level, were quite acceptable, for our party of four; If you are looking for a retreat to a quieter time, a restful place, yet with a rustic flavour, this could be what you want; any minor inconveniences, were outweighed by... We wondered whether we had done the right thing on arrival but had the luck to be met by the owner and his son and we were kindly welcomed. A place for our good walking shoes. And our Forester AWD was not out of place--- nor we found later was the flashlight we keep ready! After two nights in the... More

I recently had a very enjoyable stay at this B&B. It is by no means fancy but is spotlessly clean, warm and cozy. It you are looking for the kind of B&B you might find in Port Townsend, Washington, this is not the place for you, and you should look closely at their web site, which makes it clear there... More

I almost wonder if I am posting my review for the right accommodations, but know I am. The two negative reviews have curious inaccuracies that seem quite odd. My experience was great! Yes, this place is rustic in age and design, but it is very comfortable. Heating was no issue, and we could make the place toasty warm with the... More

This happened back in 2007. After discovering the room smelt like vomit, we offered to pay for one night booking, not the whole week we had planned. Owner insisted we had to pay for the whole week and followed us to the nearest ATM machine to make sure we paid him. Didn't want to pay him anything but I was... More

If you are considering this place, think again. As advertised, you'll get "rustic" experience that should be priced much less than the owners (whom you'll never see) ask for. The place has poor insulation and the heater is not powerful enough to make the place warm. There is running water in the bathroom but it only lasts 1.5 minutes, so... More

This place had 2 large picture windows to see sunset and sunrise but be forewarned there is no curtains blocking out the sun in the morning. I enjoyed the views and the Cd's and video provided for the room. I never saw the hosts who were hospitable without being in the way and the breakfasts treats were adequate. I enjoyed... More
