Recently stayed for two nights in one of the cottages on the property. Very roomy and kitchen is fully equipped which we took advantage of for our breakfasts. Beautiful view of the harbor and enjoyed the privacy. One small inconvenience is that there is only one bathroom in the cottage or at least in #18 and it is only accessible... More

My wife and I took advantage of a Groupon to stay for two nights in one of the one-bedroom condos, along with our baby boy. Our guess is that the condos were originally individually owned or perhaps time-shared, as the names of the buildings stenciled on the parking lots were different from the names on the building signs themselves. No... More

We stayed 2 nights in the Quarryman Hall right across the street from the Hotel de Haro at the Roche Harbor Resort. This is a newer addition to the hotel. The room was very clean, spacious and so very comfortable. The weather was very cold so the 2 throws and gas fireplace along with a microwave and refrigerator were welcomed... More

We stayed two nights at the Quarryman Hall, the much newer addition to the Hotel de Haro. It was very elegantly appointed and very spacious. Our balcony had nice views of the harbor and the gas fireplace was a nice cozy touch. Everyone we encountered from the front desk to the shops surrounding were very nice and accommodating!

Just returned from a two-night stay at the De Haro Hotel in the Roche Harbor Resort. If the adjectives historic, quaint, character, etc., move you, then this hotel is for you. The hotel was erected in 1886 by a Mr. J. McMillin, who began a lime quarry business. The hotel is built around a log structure that had been constructed... More

Despite the slanted floors and crooked walls, this historic hotel has a lot of charm and character. Room clean and subtlety decorated with plenty of amenities (we had a private bathroom). Bed was a little small but comfortable enough. Front porch overlooks the harbor. Perfect location. Staff welcoming and helpful. Only downfall is the lack of dining options close by.... More

If you know what to expect, this place is great. You can't beat the location or the views. Just be aware that there is nothing modern about this hotel. Tiny rooms, old wall paper, shared bathrooms. The women's bathroom on the second floor doesn't even have a shower... just a bath. You read that right. A bath. I showered in... More

My wife & kids were scared about having share a bathroom. There is 1 bathroom per gender on each floor. Hotel was full & we never had to wait. The hotel is clean & the people who work there ate fantastic. You can't beat the location & the sunsets are spectacular. It is only a 15 min drive to Friday... More

We recently spent the week touring the San Juan islands. We spent two nights at the Quarryman hall associated with Roche Harbor Resorts. The location is beautiful and does have a turn of the century feel. Upon arrival we were rather rudely greeted by front desk staff who offered no assistance with luggage, parking or any idea of directions to... More

Mixed feelings about this hotel. The resort offers three different types of "rooms." The first is in the actual Hotel de Haro (where we stayed), the second is the condos, and the third are the homes (they appear to be timeshare units?). The rooms at the hotel itself are in a great location, right next to the marina and within... More
