This was our first time to this area, and we couldn't have stayed at a better place. Our room was outstanding, and the Inn was so interesting and historical. It was great to be able to walk through the Inn and see the rooms that had not been rented - it was like walking through a museum. The bar was... More

Went in here for a nice lunch with my mom and grandma, and was beyond disappointed. Server was rude when we asked for our soup to be heated up, then came back and told us the thermometers weren't working "I don't know why!" Didn't feel very safe about eating the rest. Sandwiches were very bland, service was beyond terrible! Soup... More

Recently stayed here and enjoyed it as there was lots to see within the interior. The owner, Chef, artist grande, in all respects, was a delight to behold and talk too. Lovely restaurant and small bar with piano playing for the evening weekend meals.

my husband and I enjoy taking short trips. Longbeach/Seaview happens to be high on our list of places, great restaurants, good hiking and exploring. We have been traveling to that area for 20 plus years. This is the first time we were fortunate enough to stay at the Shelburne. We were pleased beyond our expectations. We hiked and explored during the... More

We have one more day to go of our four-day getaway at the Shelburne Inn, and we are already thinking about our next trip here. The Shelburne captures all of the ambience, warmth, and service that the term "Inn" implies. David Campiche and Laurie Anderson are the consummate innkeepers. We spoke at length with David throughout our visit, and he... More

This is a historic inn in the heart of Seaview. The rooms have been renovated keeping the old charm with antique pieces of furniture. The bed was comfortable but we missed having a TV. The bathroom was clean and modern but the shower head needs to be replaced. There is a good variety for breakfast although all the choices are... More

Recently, my wife and I stayed one night in the Audubon Room at China Beach, Ilwako, WA. What a great experience starting with the greeting at The Shelburne Inn that was courteous and right to the point. The room, (it is a private cottage) was superb. Not only very comfortable but completely custom made: in every corner there is wonderful... More

What a wonderful little hotel. It's filled with antiques of all ages. The beds are super comfortable. Really has the feel of a bed and breakfast with all the amenities of a hotel. The restaurant is fabulous, can't rave enough about the food. Breakfast is includes and it is well worth having dinner while you're there, the salmon was amazing!

We stayed for two nights. Room was extremly cramped, had very poor ventilation (windows too old to open) and was decorated with a hodge- podge of old yard sale type furniture. Very loud street traffic all night and bedding was nasty. Food was average and overpriced. Unfortunately, this establishment has seen better days.

My wife and I and another couple spent two nights at the Shelburne recently and had an incomparable experience. First, the weather cooperated and was in the high 60's, low 70's. Second, the rooms were amazing. Furnished with wonderful antiques chosen especially for each. Third, the owners and staff are friends upon first meeting. And the food; best hangtown fry... More
