The views really sell this place, and we had to come back after staying several years ago. Very clean and comfortable, with nice kitchens to cook that crab in! The owners go out of their way to accommodate you.

I wanted a place to escape for some peace and quiet to get some writing done. I know the peninsula well but usually camp there in the summer rather than stay at a hotel/cottage. If you are looking for a quiet, somewhat remote (rather than being smack in the middle of Sequim,) this is a great place to stay. When...

My husband and I have stayed at the Dungeness Bay Cottages several times over the last twenty years and we love it more with each stay. For the first time we stayed in the San Juan Suite which is so, so cozy with its fireplace, bookcases packed with good reads, and snug little kitchen. The view is unparalleled. At night...

I was absolutely amazed at the view that we got from these cottages. Ocean and the Dungeness Spit out the front, farms and snow-capped mountains out the back. The owners were amazing and very helpful. The interior of the cottages were spacious and had everything you needed, including full kitchens.
They were quiet, peaceful and pretty well priced for what...

We ensconced ourselves for a week in our comfortable, clean cottage. My girlfriend used the fully equipped kitchen to prepare, amongst many delicious meals, hot albondigas soup, a welcome treat during the cool, moist, gray days outside our window. Clean, streak-free
kitchen windows offered the vista of sometimes sun dappled Olympic mountains and other times mountains shrouded in roiling rain...

Karin and John have done it again! We just spent a wonderful 2 days at Dungeness Bay Cottages. I had bet my wife that they had no wifi, and of course lost the bet. So now, if you just have to check e-mail, you can. This is still the best lodging we have found in the Sequim/ Port Angeles area....

If you rated on location alone, this would be five-star. Beautiful views, fairly quiet. Lots of foot traffic (neighbors mostly on their daily walks with Fido). Fair amount of vehicle traffic amazingly, but most are going 15 mph and sightseeing.
In terms of the rooms, they are all old -- this place was probably built in the late 50s -...

This was just the kind of place we were looking for. It was quiet with a view of the strait and the Dungeness Spit from the front window and cows and countryside from the back window. We could watch the cruise ships coming through and sit and observe the beautiful sunsets in the evening. The well-supplied kitchen was great for...

A very quiet & peaceful setting. We enjoyed spectacular views right from the living room window overlooking Dungeness Spit and the Strait of Juan de Fuca and beyond to Victoria, BC. Out the opposite window were awesome views of the pastures behind and the mountains of the Olympic Range in the backdrop. Excellent for birdwatching and seal sightings. We even...

Outstanding views both of ocean in front and the pastoral fields with cows and mountains behind; very well kept and equipped cottages with fresh flowers. Although there is a small road in front it was very, very quiet, watched both the sunrise and the sunset from the cottage. Lovely walk along the road smelling the wild roses and watching the...
