The breakfast was utterly wonderfully, home-canned fruit with inventive recipes - a frittata with homegrown chard, French toasted stuffed with flavored cheese, and more. The beds: amazingly comfortable (better than home!), the hosts helped us enjoy the spring blossoms by pointing out trails and building us a fire to play scrabble by in the evening. More

I booked into the Methow Valley Inn while travelling for business, but plan to come back for pleasure. This jewel of a historic building is country-perfect, and the breakfast was amazing. Even better were the innkeepers, Raleigh and Peter, who are gracious and unobtrusive hosts. Well worth a longer stay. More

We loved this place. Wonderful location, building, rooms, food, etc, etc. Twisp is a little town east of Seattle, and is a great little secret. A little no-nothing town of yesteryear, that has been tastefully transformed into a lovely artists hot spot, ski village, and so on. We even saw a fantastic ballet done by the Seattle Ballet Company in... More

Welcoming host. Delicious breakfast. Historical, cozy, clean home. Only downside is the town which has limited restaurants and amenities. However, if you are trying to avoid the large "tourist trap" feel, this is the place for you. More

This is a lovely old Inn beautifully and tastefully restored by the caring owners. The rooms are small but comfortable and meticulously clean. Abundant towels, washcloths, even rags are provided to clean shoes and hiking equipment. Breakfast is excellent with fresh fruit (in season) from an on premises small orchard. Located near the confluence of the Twisp and Methow rivers... More

We had never been in the area, but researched lodging online. What a delightful gem we found! The Methow Valley Inn is a charming B & B - an old house that has been lovingly restored by the innkeepers. It has an interesting past history - have Terry or one of the other innkeepers share the stories! The room &... More

My car was parked in front of the inn while I was at the bakery down the street. A brand new hiking boot fell out of my car when a friend was adjusting some gear, and we didn't notice. I called the next day and the lovely people at the inn had kindly picked it up. When I offered to... More

Seven riders from our touring motorcycle club stayed for a long weekend at the Methow Valley Inn. If you're just looking for somewhere to put your head for the night, there are other venues in town. If you're looking for comfort, cleanliness, hospitality and history and a base for your activities in the valley, we would highly recommend this friendly... More

This charming inn in Twisp is wonderfully located in the Valley. The inn-keepers, especially Terry Larsen, are always available to assist with day trips, restaurant recommendations, and of course just "fun chatter" at breakfast. We have stayed there every year for the past 8 years. More
