Recently arrived at the Econolodge Wenatchee, it was awful, dirty, smelly, stained carpets, bars on windows, no place for breakfast - for the first time ever we walked away from a hotel, and stayed at the Coast Wenatchee which was great. More

We stayed at the Econo Lodge last minute after our reservation at another motel fell through. It was over Labor Day weekend, so we felt lucky to find a room last minute- literally 10 minutes from when we arrived. Econo Lodge seemed a safe bet, but the price- over $90 a night- was way too steep for what they offered.... More

I would like to inform you that as mentioned above there is no bed bugs and the hotel front desk staff is nice and helpful, rooms are clean and neat, looks outside are alittle underkept but for the most part it is good. More

At the desk, I enquired about rates. These were stated. I said "Do you have anything cheaper?" I was told, "You can have this room for a lower rate". I took it. I looked, as is my custom, for signs of bedbugs. I found one suspicious smear on the wall near the bedside table, but no other evidence. The next... More

We found a pair of shoes in the closet (with no hangers) that obviously was overlooked when it was vacuumed (wink wink). The king size bed had a twin sized placement for the mattress pad. Kleenex container was left with an empty box in it. Fridge and microwave are on the floor. Ironing board cover had holes in it and... More

Spartan hotel and old furnishings. Cleanliness alright but carpet old and showers not baths are old. If your exhausted and don't want to pay much-stay here. The pool sometimes you can have to yourself although it sits on a busy street a gate is around it and gives some privacy. More

The motel is doing renovations right now. So our room was freshly painted, the mattress was brand new and the decor was just what we expected for a cheap motel($75 canadian, taxes inc.). Every thing was clean and the air conditioner was a life saver (it was 105f/ 41c when we arrived at 4pm)! The staff were very friendly and... More

As soon as we drove up we noticed the lobby windows were filthy, inside the lobby it's dingy and mixed style of 60's -70's thriftstore. The next day, a cold breakfast was available in the same lobby. Walking up to our room the stairs and halls were covered in black, sooty webs. Our room carpet was stained and matted, all... More

Bottom line... Elitist left-lib bloggers should not be allowed to write economy-friendly hotel reviews. Guess what? The place is absolutely perfectly fine for middle class folks who need a place to stay in Wenatchee. Our room was clean (bathroom especially), and the hard-working family who run the place were friendly & helpful. Was there a caviar relish tray waiting for... More

I have stayed here 3 different times coming through town. The last time I did, they used my credit card and have charged it for another night stay 2 weeks later. They refuse to admit it and won't give up the manager's name, all employees stating over the phone, they don't know his last name!!!! He also apparently never, ever... More
