On a business trip for 2 weeks. I had a balcony room. Room was dated but clean. Friendly staff. Walter at front desk was particularily helpful.

Sent three youth volleyball teams here in March 2012. Well.."bikers" convention in the hotel..and a gang shoot out in the parking lot. Staff said "fireworks"...Dated, but CLEAN. Cars broken into. Not staying here ever again.

The staff was friendly and helpful, however our rooms (booked 2) were AWFUL. Dirty walls with holes in them, funky smells and worn furnishings. The restaurant comes complete with torn benches and godawful food. Definitely a place to go if you want to sleep in a dump with friendly staff.

Please be advised that we take the safety of our guests very seriously. We have interior corridors, locking outdoor entrance locks and are one of the few hotels in Yakima that has hired over-night security as well.
