My wife and i were in Charleston Wv, for Mother's Day Weekend. We stayed at the Downtown Charleston Hampton Inn. The place was clean, checkin and checkout were quick and painless. The staff was very helpful( Especially Jean and Vickie), and I really like the fresh popcorn in the lobby. Reasonable rates, clean room, good location....need I say more?

We arrived late after a long day driving and it was easy to find near the highway. Everything was as we expected and we had a great night sleep before continuing our drive the next day. We'll have to come back and spend some time in the city - what we saw looked enticing.

Nice, clean easy to get to location. Plenty of food and shopping choices. Very clean. Good front desk. The only issue was it is located next to the Interstate so it was a little noisy. We just turnedvthe fan on for the air/heat system to block out the noise. Decent price.

This Hampton is tucked right in between the highway and some businesses. It's a little tricky to get to, but once there, it's a cut above the usual Hamptonality. After traveling for approximately 15 years for my job, and now retired, it is truly a pleasure to stay at the downtown Charleston, WV Hampton. You are treated as family and all your needs are met until you check out. I recommend it highly.

The hotel is great. The staff was friendly staff. The room was very clean. The complimentary breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, it is RIGHT next to a busy interstate. There was traffic noise all night. Will try another location next time.

I read the previous reviews to decide to stay here. Good choice. Everything was great. Rooms clean, breakfast was great and free parking and internet. Staff was great and prices reasonable. I did not go to the pool but it looked ok. I will stay here again if I go back.
