NO HBO was available during stay based on upgrades with no estimate. Hotel is older which is fine but not updated. Box spring covers are ripped and torn, walls are marked and need repainted and overall decor is outdated.

A bunch of unsupervised teens jumped in the pool and almost drowned my grandson. We adults could hardly get out of the pool without drowning ! Parents need to supervise if they have not taught their children common curtesy with young children. We only rented a room to swim. And we were forced out by hooligans!

Nice location next door to Civic Center and very close to Marshall University. Recently refurbished rooms are very comfortable. Breakfast facility is very inadequate and was understaffed the day of my visit. Plenty of other dining options within walking distance. There is no bar in this hotel, a bit of an oddity .
