This was a typical Holiday Inn Express. Nothing fancy. I asked the reservationist on the telephone if the rooms with 2 beds were queens or doubles. He said Queen, but I have my doubts. The pool area is nice and enjoyable.

The hotel was fine, clean, nice enough, but lacked anything very welcoming. The pool was fine, the breakfast was fine, the room was fine. The SpringHill Suites or the Hampton Inn are typically a notch or two above this place. I will probably drive a little further for one of those next time.

We had a bad experience back in Sept 2011 at this HIE. However, Gabriel contacted us and made things right for us. Good GM. We decided to stay with HIE again in Morgantown and things went very well. Thanks Gabriel, we'll be back. We appreciate your efforts.

Nice. Average HI Express. A little expensive. Near walking distance to restaurants. (Ruby Tuesday was great.) Breakfast was ok, as expected. Room was clean and quiet. A long way from the stadium. We probably wouldn't stay here again when going to a game. Any other reason it might be ok. Nice and friendly staff.

Recently I had another opportunity to stay at the holiday inn express in Morgantown. Thie hotel parking lot was being upgraded so entry was through the side door. A necessary evil when such a repair is being done. As always the hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. Comfy bed, clean room, and complimentary breakfast. Thumbs up.

Football weekends are VERY big in Morgantown and I apologize however if the reservation is made with a credit card that will not authorize or be charged we can not hold the room. We try to call any room that we would cancel but it is not the hotels responsibility to make sure the credit card is good or up...
