If you can find the hotel on a website, and on a map, and with your GPS, you are ahead of the game. It is critical to plan your trip in advance with printed instructions before you leave. The Inn is affected by the National Space Telescope which blacks out communications, including cell phones for 40 square miles. My two... More

I read some of the reviews here and some of you need to get real! The Inn is a fairly cheap place to stay and you are not going to get a luxury condo for 85 bucks! What you get is a fairly clean and comfortable room for a pretty good price. You get a free breakfast, two hot tubs,... More

These accommodations are really basic. The building is old with wear and tear showing everywhere. The breakfast buffet was terrible. We couldn't eat most of the served food. The rooms were cleaned OK but the physical attributes of the motel were just so bad. Walls had holes, doors had worn away marks, furniture had veneer missing. We stayed here because... More

We stayed at the Inn as it was budget-friendly for a one-night stay. All reviews that I've read are pretty accurate so I'll just presents pros/cons as a quick reference: Pros - Budget-friendly - Staff was helpful/can get lift tickets at the Inn - Free Breakfast - eggs, pancakes, bacon, biscuits & gravy, cereal, breads, fruit, juices - Pool/Hot tub... For a budget-friendly, but still great stay at Snowshoe, consider the Inn at Snowshoe at the base of the mountain about 6 miles away from the main skiing area. There are shuttles that run between the Inn and The Village/Silver Creek at the top of the mountain, so staying at the bottom isn't a problem. In fact, it's kind of... More

Average motel that need a face lift. The rooms are ok clean but old. The carpet was dirty and the bed was old and noisy. The restaurant was closed for dinner, but breakfast was ok. The stuff were nice and helpful. Not much to do in the area, You have to go up to Snowshoe mountain for restaurant and shopping.... More

I booked the Inn at Snowshoe based mostly on the price. The hotel is at the base of the mountain making it about a 7 minute drive to the top of the world (Snowshoe Mountain ski area) and about a 4 minute drive to the Silver Creek ski area. The hotel is on par with perhaps a 2 to 2.5... More

My husband and I recently stayed at the Inn this past weekend for our anniversary. For the most part, it was a pleasant stay. We are the kind of people who don't mind paying less especially when we are aware that the hotel itself and the amenities aren't "world" class. More specifically, we knew we'd spend more time up on... More

Its not as bad as it looks. Cant beat the price compared to condos up top. I was hesitant to book because there was so little information available so here goes. It reminded me of my college days in the dorm. Rooms were OK. Beds were comfy, heat worked, hot water, 32" flat screen with good TV selections, no frills.... More
