Steve and Sue were welcoming and a pleasure to chat with. Lots of character and charm at this bed and breakfast. Great assortment of fruit, yogurt, muffins, eggs and toast for breakfast. A delightful assortment of tea as well. The homemade granola was delicious! Rooms were clean and I loved the asian themed room we stayed in. A lovely visit!

Great room (and bathroom) in a terrific little town. The owners were very friendly and even offered some very nice, local beer. The property is set on a river (hence the name), and is a short walk from the town center. The place has only been open for a short while and has been very nicely updated. Also super clean.

We stumbled upon this gem, and couldn't have imagined any way our stay could have been improved: amazing decor, beautiful river view, nourishing breakfast (with hosts willing to accommodate dietary needs), and hosts so kind and relaxed we truly felt like we had arrived home. We will definitely find reasons to visit this special little place on the planet again...

What a wonderful experience visiting this gorgeous home on the river with amazing hosts. The accommodations were exceptional and the attention to detail made our stay extremely enjoyable. We will be back!

Our stay at the Rock River Inn in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin, was absolutely wonderful. Hosts Steve and Sue Friedman have created a comfortable, welcoming environment. We loved our stay at the Rock River Inn! The rooms are amazing and completely redone in different themes and decore from the owers travels around the world. We all slept like babies in the super comfortable beds with feather pillows, duvets and quality linens. Downtown Fort Atkinson is an easy 10 min walk where we enjoyed the great restaurants... More
