My husband and I love the history of the Inn. We were happy with the view. The room was clean. The bed was good. The staff was friendly. We will be going back this summer. The locaion is close to a trail head. When we go back we will take our bikes. The value was very good. Not just a... More

Stayed here 1 night with a group of friends. We camp in the area in summer so we do know places to go to. The hotel is clean, the rooms are decent, older but antique type furniture, comfy beds, and just a little old time style. Thanksfully we saw NO ghosts. Everyone was pleased with the rooms over all. Location... More

We liked the antique charm, loaded with antiques on all floors. Huge lobby, open staircase and wide hallways. Beds are OK, not pillow tops. Desk clerk let us play a game in the lobby on their round oak table. All baths seem to be new with Jacuzzis and showers. I hope to be back when the snow is gone.

This is not your average box chain hotel, so if that's what you want, go elsewhere. This is a unique old hotel in a 100 year old building that is haunted. You will enjoy the atmosphere if you like that kind of thing. Think of it as an experience, not just an overnight place. The staff was friendly. The rooms... More

I travel quite a bit for business and had to book at the Kewaunee after room rates in other areas skyrocketed due to a last minute trip. When I arrived I found the atmosphere to be rather cozy with a very home like feel. The front desk was very friendly and helpful and the rooms were very unique, each one... More

I found this Inn when looking for restaurant.com coupons in the area. Thought it would be fun to eat and stay at the same location. I booked two nights here. Upon arrival I was frightened by the shabby appearance of the outside of the inn. We checked in and learned that the restaurant was closed. The woman at the desk... More

This was our second time in Kewaunee at the Inn en route through Door County. The staff is friendly, the rooms are clean and the place has the overall charm of days gone by. It is rumored to be inhabited by two ghosts, we saw neither although we were in one of the haunted rooms. We love the sleepy town,... More

My husband and I drove to Wisconsin to get away from the remnants of Hurricane Isaac over Labor Day weekend. We found the positive reviews and decided to try this hotel, which is about three hours north of Chicago and a pretty drive. The room was surprisingly large and sunny with five large windows and a beautiful view of the... More

How anyone could've liked this joint, is beyond me. I get that it's old and I'm fine with it being nostalgic and all that. That's fine by me. I like antiquey. Dirty? Not so much. The pillows on top of the bed smelled used.... and used many times over. We kicked those to the curb and used the terribly flat... More
