In the Executive Suite second floor and had a mouse run across bed and grandson. Chased mouse into bathroom, and called management. They came with a slipper to kill mouse in bathroom. Left with mouse, but when grandson went in to use bathroom the blood and guts were still on floor and wall! Took all night to calm him down.... More

Apparently "eco-friendly bathroom amenities" means no facial tissue, toilet paper you could write a novel on (literally), near soap-less bar soap (more like a small chunk), no shampoo and only two bath towels. ... Yuck - not clean - hard water stains everywhere - stained sheets - stained towels - stained shower curtain - stained sink - wear and tear everywhere. Breakfast area was not kept clean - stained chair upholstery. I don't think I will stay at this franchise no matter where they are located. More

Room was nasty, refride had brown oose in it. pillows and sheets are brownish tan large like coffee stains on them. Service was attentive, but I will admit that we didn't have any special requests, not even a wake up call. The room smells of mold and wet dog, the towels are crunchy and we only have two of them, the bed comforters are trashy and if it wasn't for them being such dark colors i'm sure they'd be majorly stained... Unfortunately this is the only hotel in town - at least the only one we could find. Lake Mills is a wonderful little town, too bad this is their only hotel. The first issue were hidden costs - they charged us for an additional adult in one of the rooms (I rented 2 rooms). They only provided 2 bath towels... More
