Marshfield does not have good lodging options. The Holiday Inn is grossly overpriced, breakfast is not included in the room rate and it is adjacent to a very mediocre restaurant. I had read the reviews here and was encouraged. What we found was bad smells coming from the carpet in both the second floor hallways and the room. The only non smelly place was the tiled bathroom which was clean. Management gave us a spray bottle of disinfectant to try to mask the odors (cigarettes/cigar/musty smells) which did not help.... More
