My husband and I booked this for a birding trip to the Horicon Marsh because we had a Living Social deal. Everything was wonderful--the hotel itself had wonderful antique character, the staff was friendly and the rooms were nice and clean. We ate at the adjoining restaurant for dinner and the food was AWESOME, although the service was slow. That... More

After a very long business day, I pulled up to the Audubon Inn in Mayville, WI. I wasn't sure what to expect. I was graciously welcomed by the Inn owner Stacy, who immedialtely took charge by helping me in with my bags and getting me settled in my room. As it was already late in the evening, I headed to... I and my girlfriend stayed in the Bluebird suite for a single Saturday night and found the staff to be some of the best we have had the pleasure to encounter. While some of the amenities have not been updated (tube TV instead of flatscreen) and there is no pool, this is exactly the sort of place I hope to... More

I took my husband to get away for his 50th birthday. When booking they ask if it's for any special occassion. Nobody acknowleged it was his birthday. Room was extremely tiny, and the tv was from the 80's. Also ladies, bring your hair conditioner, they have none. I had to run to the Piggly Wiggly to buy some. The soaps... More

We went at the wrong time of year for Horicon Marsh, the Audubon Inn is in the perfect location for a nice weekend away from the city at the right time of year. The Stained glass windows are beautiful - overall its a beautiful guest house with that true "olden days" feel. The suite we stayed in was a nice... More

Had a groupon to use and thought this would be a great trip. NOT at all!! The room was tiny and very outdated. Not at all a bed and breakfast. Bed and continental breakfast like a hotel would be. The room had horrible stains on the floor, looked like vomit. I didn't even want to walk around in my socks.... More

We came to walk Horicon Marsh and the Audubon Inn nearby was a good jumping off point. Appropriately, much of the interior decoration features birds and the glass etchings are noteworthy. The Inn is a blend of small hotel and B&B. The property is clean and the Hummingbird Suite was cozy yet comfortable, though the building did show some serious... More

Mike and Stacy were wonderful hosts, attentive and helpful in every way. We stayed in the honeymoon suite (the Dove suite) on the third floor (yes, elevator was handy!). The inn has great charm and character and has been lovingly restored. The food in the dining room is superb and the service equally good. Our bed was very comfortable, we... More

We have been coming to The Audubon Inn for years and the new manager is absolutely nothing compare to the previous management. Gordon was the previous manager but now the new manager, I believe her name is Maggie, has no solid experience and she does not have any good customer service skills. We came there tonight and she was impersonable,... More
