I found the Courtyard by Marriott Milwaukee Downtown to be a great value for a higher-end property. Our room was fairly standard and clean. I loved the lobby and roundabout. Definitely recommend using the valet service as it's only slightly more costly than self-parking. We didn't have a chance to use the new Bistro but it had a vey modern... More

We needed a room for one night in our hometown of Milwaukee, needed to be downtown for a graduation and found a room at the Courtyard by Marriott for a decent price. The location is just a few blocks from some good bars and restaurants and right next store to the mall (haven't been in the mall in 20 years!)so... More

Newly renovated lobby with the bistro concept but food is pricey and not worth it. Rooms are old and have a bad odor. More

I want to thank you for your comments regarding your stay and we are glad that you liked our new lobby. I am very sorry your room did not meet your expectations. In an effort to fix this particular room, your help to advise me of the room number would be great. If you get a chance, please contact me.... More

Traveled for a college visit MSOE which was about a mile away. Hotel and room were clean. We didn't have any shampoo and mentioned it to the friendly front desk person and it was promptly delivered to our room. The room has a split bath with is nice so someone can use the sink when someone else is in the... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay with us. I am glad you liked our hotel. There are a few options for parking which you mention but certainly can create issues when weather is around. I am glad you liked the food from our new Bistro. At times with the extreme weather changes, we can get some condensation on... More

The hotel was great and the staff was great. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Location was fine. My problem was with the new "Bistro" that Courtyard is putting in. It is an extremely limited menu and too high prices. The portions are teeny. I love a hardy breakfast, which the buffet used to be. I did not see a... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay. I am glad you liked our staff and our rooms. I am sorry you feel the Bistro options do not meet your expectations as in the past with the buffet. We have changed the concept to a fresh grab and go style, however, we still offer a great full breakfast with eggs... More

Like the location and in description it said parking, but you had to pay for valet or self parking. Rooms comfortable and internet was free for one day after which there was a charge, unless you had a second computer. Good location in the downtown area and easy to get to. Connected to a downtown mall, so easy to do... More

Thank you for your comments regarding your stay. Yes, you do have to pay for parking, however, we are one of the least expensive in Milwaukee at $15 for self parking and $18/$20 for Valet. I am not aware of an additional charge for a second charge for internet. We offer complimentary internet for lobby and guest rooms. Thank you... More

Recently visited Milwaukee and wanted to stay downtown. Usual options of Hyatt and Hilton were full, Doubltree was three times the price of Courtyard so we decided the Courtyard was worth a shot. What a spectacular surprise! The location is perfect and for those interested, there's a frequent shuttle to and from the casino that stops right in front of... More

I sayed at this loaction last Thursday - Sunday. I highly recommend it. The premises are extremely clean. The staff, especially the manager, Tony, were very pleasant The location is ideal as it is in the heart of downtown and you can walk to several restaurants and stores. The newly renovated lobby, with a bar, looks great. I have stayed... More

Check-in was easy. Parking expensive and the beds for lousy. The worst part of our experience was being woken up at 330 a.m. by the fire alarm not once by FIVE TIMES...no fire. Front desk male employee was rude when we called and asked if everything was okay. He said, "yeah , we had to kick someone out". More

I am very sorry for the alarms going off this past Saturday night. We were in the process of evicting a guest who continued to use poor judgement and pulled the alarm on his exit. I am sorry you felt the staff was being rude. It was probably the distraction of the situation more than anything. I hope this does... More
