This is a very nice downtown hotel within walking distance to several restuarants. The staff was very friendly, room was very large with high ceilings. There is a fee for parking. It does not have a pool or hot tub, More

This Residence Inn is a historic hotel that used to be a department store in downtown Milwaukee. The rooms are a good size and each room comes with a small kitchen. The location of this hotel is great for downtown as it is right on the river, across the street from an indoor mall and close to Marquette University. The... More

I was here on a business trip for 5 days and I was extremely satisfied. The location downtown and on the river was great. The staff were all friendly and very helpful. Some extras included are a free hot breakfast, complimentary newspaper, and a complimentary happy hour with food and beer/wine. I will definitely stay here again next time I... More

There were so many great places we could walk to from our hotel, which was a huge plus for us. We were able to walk to the Harley Museum, the Milwaukee boatline tours, and even Lakefront Brewery (which was a logner walk, 1.6 miles, but not bad). The hotel is right along the Milwaukee River Walk, which was nice and... More

This was my third stay at the hotel, but my previous stay was four years ago. In that time, they have doubled the price for a room, and it just wasn't worth it. If you aren't familar with the property, it sits directly on the Milwaukee River in the old Gimball's Department Store. Consequently, the rooms are huge with very... More

Name on room Jamie Blaugh (which was spelled wrong, it's Jamie Blough.) stayed one night may 12 to may 13. In room 820 Everything was fantastic with the place. The only thing I had an issue with was the young girl who checked us in around 8:15pm on may 12th, told us that the overnight open parking lot that was... More

Very friendly staff and clean hotel. The rooms were very large with tall ceilings. The location is perfect for those looking to spend time downtown. The breakfast was excellent. More

I stayed at the Residence Inn over a weekend for a meeting. I had a single bedroom suite on the seventh floor. It was very large, about 700 sq. ft. with 12 foot ceilings - impressive and comfortable. The windows overlooked the Riverwalk district, but the weekend was largely cold and damp. I was told that in better seasons, there... More

This nice gem is tucked away in the ASQ building, which can only be a few years old. The beds were great, they pick up your groceries by request and there isn't a better extended stay type of hotel to stay at in Milwaukee. The bed is top notch. Good location downtown with easy freeway access and easy access to... More

Ryan W, Thank you for your kind words about our property. Our building is actually 125 years old! It was Gimbels Department Store and Marshall Fields before being converted into a hotel about 11 years ago. I am so glad that you enjoyed your bed. Your comfort away from home is one of our top priorities. We hope that if... More

Attending a conference in downtown Milwaukee with spouse, I wanted to find something at a better rate than the conference offering AND have a place to relax and cook a meal or two rather than having to eat out every day for 4 days. High expectations! And, they were fulfilled beautifully at the Residence Inn Downtown Milwaukee! The rooms are... More
