This place was beautiful. Thw owners left the night we stayed. One women was running the place. We had no hot water for a shower, or our jacuzzi. We enjoyed our stay at the Lumber Baron Inn. The five course breakfast was wonderful both days we stayed. Sandy even catered to me as a vegetarian. Very charming home, right on the Mississippi River, very clean and the inn keepers were very nice and helpful. Would be pleased to stay there again. More

Right on the river......lots of nice antiques.....very relaxing. Ken and Sandy made us feel welcome......The breakfast was delicious........five courses on real silver and china. Only drawback was the 'romantic tub'........I am in pretty good shape and even I had trouble using it. More
