This hotel is obnoxious!!!! The rooms are extremely small and the staff SUCKS!!! We usually stay at Chula Vista or my favorite-Kalahari. The kids do love Mt. Olympus waterpark; so we thought we would try Hotel Rome-BAD DECISION! The walls are paper thin and I think the cleaning crew went on strike.Trust me you will feel violated after your stay... More

OK, I've read good and bad reviews and will say this. They all have good points, but to say that this is the worst place...come on. They must work for the Wilderness or Kalahari. There is no better value or variety of activities included in your SUMMER stay than at Mt. Olympus. None of the other resorts even come close.... More

Staff is rude, rooms are dirty. Waterpark is run down. They just keep buying all the dumpy hotels down the street and adding them to the "Mt. Olympus family". That just leads to more overcrowding, and more money for the owners. Owners who are extremely unresponsive. It is a shame what the place has become and that the other owners... More

Just got back from my first time at Mt. Olympus and my family enjoyed it very much. They opened 2 rollercoasters and 2 go kart tracks along with a couple of the smaller kid rides. The indoor amusement park was better than expected with a roller coaster, bumper cars, climbing wall, little kids activity and smaller go kart track. The... More

There was a lot to do and it wasn't very crowded. It was a little cold outside but it was a bonus that the outdoor park had some rides open. The water park was I bit small with nothing above and beyond any of the others. The room was fine, comfortable with a flat screen. More

Upon reading the reviews I almost didn't come here but I must say I was pleasantly surprised. We booked a stay for 2 nights and we have 3 kids ages 12, 9, and 8 months. For the discounted price I got on the Internet I am happy with Hotel Rome. The room is very clean and spacious. The halls are... More

Every year we take the family to a waterpark resort somewhere in Wisconsin. This year we chose Mt. Olympus resort because it "seemed" comparable to other resorts in the area. What we found upon arriving was that the resort was falsely advertised. The room that the internet stated could accomodate eight of us could really only sleep 6. When we... More

Arrived last night. We stayed in the main building with hardwood floors and bunk beds Here are a few issues we had: 1. Despite the online reservation, they had us checking in the night before. Good thing we had our reservation confirmation. 2. The bunk beds were not made. When we inquired, the front desk staff said that was because... More

Where to start first off we had a 2 queen bed w/bunks room mini fridge & a mini microwave so small you cant even pop a bag of popcorn in. There is no kind of a little dresser or night stand with a drawer for you to put anything. The hallways are dirty I was there 3 days & never... More

We booked our trip for march 29th to the 1st of April. 2 days before we were to leave I found out the Poseidon village is actually about a half mile down the road from the waterpark. So I called the hotel and got us a room in hotel Rome which is much more expensive. When I booked it they... More
