I have lived in Casper for several years. I have used the Showboat twice when I have gone through some tough times of unemployment. The most recent started in March, 2012 and I am still there. I have had several good experiences here.

In fairness, the room was fine. The fridge was big enough, the bed was not uncomfortable, the window could be opened and had a screen, the room was clean (when we got there, at least).

We stayed here and had a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I was a little concerned being so close to the freeway but we didn't here much freeway noise, actually we heard more from the hallways. The beds were comfy and the place had good internet service. The continental breakfast is limited but they did have waffles....

Let me explain the rating. If you can afford $65 or more a night you could stay elsewhere. But for around 50 dollars this is a great option. I thought the cinder block construction would give it a jail like feel, but instead it feels solid and keeps room to room noise down.

A great place to take you hooker or do a drug deal, We didnt get more than a hour of contious sleep. Best we could tell someone had a new customer about every hour next door. loud groups of people.My wife was worried for are safety, And can you believe they vacuum the hall in the middle of the night....
