Good value, clean room, clean sheets. Old hotel but I'm sure you can imagine "old hawaii" while you are here. We usually stay in much nicer hotels but this place is just fine for one night. No complaints. Have a sense of humor and everything will be ok. It's a little adventure for sure.

Cute and quiet place. Great for the value. It's near all the locals and black sand beaches. Breakfast was interesting with papayas, carbs, coffee, and juice, no protein. The local spots to visit near are Richardson State Park and Akaka Falls State park. Near downtown Hilo with all the shops. Hotel was nice overall.

Beautiful view, beautiful Banyan trees. This is an old hotel that has not been kept up. If you are looking for an affordable place to sleep, shower and shave then this will do just fine.
