My girlfriend and I stayed at Volcano Village Lodge a few weeks ago and we had a delightful stay. It was a nice place with beyond expectation romance. The room we had was a dream come true. We had a view of the rainforest out of our window that I couldnt get over. Our only issue was that parking was... More

This is my first TA review, so go easy on me. I had the stay of my life and wanted to share my joy. Describe the service you experienced: We agree that hands down our stay at Volcano VIllage Lodge was the best of our entire time in Hawaii. The peaceful Zen calm of the property deserves to be shared... More

We (my hub & I) stayed for 3 way too short nights at Volcano Village Lodge, and I simply can't say enough good things about the room, the lodge, and the whole experience. I honestly couldn't bear to leave if I didn't really have to, but we had no choice. It is now my perfect place to go to recharge... More

Here is my travel advice, If you are visiting anywhere in Hawaii do yourself a favor and reserve a room (more like a bungalow) at this place in Volcano Village! You will be surprised when you arrive! I know we were! We were lucky to have the opportunity to get a reservation and stay at the Volcano Village Lodge. So... More

My husband & I spent 2 nights of our honeymoon at the Volcano Village Lodge in the Hale Manaluna room and wished we had stayed longer! The lodge is in a secluded, residential, rainforest location just 5 minutes from Volcanoes National Park. At night, it was so dark and quiet, perfect for sleeping and we felt incredibly safe. We really... More

Aloha! We appreciate your kind words. Isn't the lava hike an out-of-this-world experience? Since the lava flow is always changing, our Innkeepers do our best to keep up-to-date and make the best recommendations possible. We are happy that Meghan was able to make such a memorable recommendation for you. We'd love to see some photos from your tour! Mahalo for... More

The lodge was a unique concept for us, we were looking forward to a rainforest experience. The setting and views were very much as pictured on the website, and we had expected it to be damp and chilly (it was). We liike to let the birds wake us up in the morning, but it was really too chilly to leave... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Something that surprises many of our guests is that Volcano Village is located at approximately 3500' above sea level, so our temperatures range from 70s during the day to 50s overnight. The elevation change is so gradual on the drive up from Hilo that many people don't even notice it!... More

This B&B includes 5 bungalows in the rainforest about a mile outside the Volcanos National Park. It was very peaceful and quiet and luxurious, although I did describe it to a friend like a luxurious camp in the rainforest. We stayed at the Mauna Loa bungalow and it was truly beautiful. The place was so safe that I don't think... More

An intimate property tucked away in the palms and ferns , volcano village lodge was just perfect for the start of our anniversary trip to the big island. We arrived after the office closed ( 6pm) and so they had our lights on and door unlocked, goodies on the table and breakfast for the following morning in the fridge. A... More

This place is amazing. We stayed in the Mauna Loa lodge and it was beautiful. The bed was sooo comfortable, the shower was great, the kitchenette with all the extra treats and breakfast were delicious, and the view of the rainforest out every window was amazing. This resort is top drawer. The only draw back, and it was a big... More
