The most comfortable bed in the world, well it felt like it at the time. Room 1. It almost felt like staying in someone's spare room actually. Shannon is friendly. The place could do with a bit of a makeover really, but it was fine, everything we tried, worked. Breakfast was a bit light though. More

Except for this B&B, we stayed at upscale resorts on both Oahu and the Big Island during our 2-1/2 week vacation .... and we just loved this B&B the best! We stayed in the Hale Ohia vacation rental ... very spacious with all the amenities we needed. Close to VNP but very secluded and peaceful! Dan & Shannon are wonderful... More

Room was a little funky but host, Steve, was extremely nice and accommodating. Property is lushly landscaped and well off the road. Very convenient to restaurants and park. More

We stayed 3 nights at this lovely place in the middle of a rainforest jungle on near the Volcano National Park on Hawaii. The owners are very friendly with the typical Aloha laid back style. Yeah...there could have been a better job done on the floors and sure a couple of cobwebs in the corner but otherwise I loved it.... More

We stayed one night at this location and truly liked the surroundings and jungle feel. The property sits back off the road and is very private. Pros -nice location -lava tube on property -comfortable bed -large room Cons -Room extremely musty and damp feeling (it was raining but there are ways to warm it up and freshen) -linens were old... We stayed one night, before spending the next day at VNP. Most convenient for those visiting the national park; much better than driving up from Hilo. Very comfortable, despite the rain we encountered. Nothing fancy, but a cozy and pleasant room with everything you might need to be comfortable, including a small space heater for warmth. Plenty of breakfast choices... More

Really liked this spot...close to Volcano National Park. Nice cozy room with a great veranda with bbq. Owner, Shannon was quite friendly and offered us great breakfast which helped justify the rate. The Lava tube was enjoyed by the crew we travelled with...worth doing their free tour. More

With all the b&bs sprouting up in Volvano Village, this family has been able too capture and perpetuate the spirit of Aloha. We stayed in the Hale Ho'omale room, the decor was outstanding, so tranquil with the birds singing outside our window every morning and evening. Being Hawaiian, I was very impressed with their interest in practicing Hawaiian traditions, "oli... More

I treated my husband to a relaxing stay at the Aloha Crater Lodge. I must say that it simply describes the name in its self, it's the "aloha" which means hello or love in Hawaiian. The hosts shows this the minute you arrive, they are very friendly, makes sure you have everything you need, and gives you a tour of... More

We were pleasantly surprised by Aloha Crater Lodge. We didn't call to book until late at night at Volcanoes National Park. I found it on my iPhone. We called and Shannon gave us a special rate for the night. The lodge is super close to the park, just down the hill, less than 5 minute drive, and very private. The... More
