Hilton has learned well from the airlines on how to charge their customers more money while pretending to keeping their room rates low. Hilton thinks people are stupid and they will never know they have paid an extra fee for things that have no value or little value. Just raise the room rate and include the stuff in the resort... The hotel and its property are beautiful. Well manicured. The hotel has much to offer such as pools, spa's and various jacuzzi's, restaurants, shops, dolphin quest, activities for young and old and a monorail to get around. Come with your wallet though. The rooms are comfortable. Recommend Lagoon Tower. No minibar and robes, however. Small amenities do make a difference... More

Overpriced and they charge for EVERY LITTLE THING. But it's a nice hotel. I had to wear ear plugs because of the damn birds at 3am daily. Don't eat at the hotel food is overpriced and below average. Go to the grocery stores nearby or to sushi sansei or Roy's, in the shopping center nearby. sushi sansei is one of... More

Honestly folks, you will not find a better resort for the complete vacation experience. This property is huge and offers something for everyone. The Lagoon is great for safe snorkel experience for adults and kids. So many pools, amazing spa, lots of restaurant options, views at every turn, monorail and boat to get you around, hammocks, gardens, this list goes... More

The Hilton Waikoloa is a genuinely beautiful resort. The grounds feature wonderful gardens; superb landscaping; really well d one walkways and breezeways including the exceptional grand colonade. There are plenty of restaurants catering for a wide variety of tastes and budgets. nWe particularly enjoyed the Mexican-themed cantina and the Chinese restaurant ( at which we had dinner overlooking the lagoon... What a wonderful hotel! This was our second visit in 7 years and we enjoyed it even more the second time around. The grounds are enormous and meticulously manicured, but in a good way! We had so much fun just strolling back and forth across the property, looking at all of the wonderful artifacts, statues, lawns, birds, ocean, cats (:-).... More

We were staying on a reward and got there around 3PM. Our room was not ready and we were upgraded and given vouchers for breakfasts for our stay. Everyone on the property was just incredibly nice and very helpful. This one was gratis but we will be back for sure.

We stayed 1 night at the beginning of our first visit to the Big Island. I would really recommend 2 nights minimum. The grounds are so beautiful and vast - so much to do! We stayed in the Palace Tower, which was comfortable and okay, but nothing super luxurious - but you don't really want to spend a lot of... More

This was our second 6 night stay in two years. Last time we stayed in the Ocean tower (Ocean View) and this time we opted for the Lagoon tower with "partial ocean view". The room was very nice and actually had a wonderful view of the ocean. I must admit, we do prefer the Lagoon Tower location and amenities. It... More

From great restaurants to fantastic pools to seeing the dolphins plan it was a fantastic experience. The grounds are immaculate and so beautiful. It is a huge resort and the use of the tram and/or boats are needed to get around which can be a bit cumbersome at times but they are frequent enough to be only a very minor... More
