We stayed in Unit 3204 for our Honeymoon 4/28/2012 - 5/2/2012. My wife and I were thoroughly impressed with the value this unit provides. The location was incredible, situated atop a cliff directly over the ocean (not a beach though). As such, the view is incredible (especially of sunrise) and the breeze coming through the windows was wonderful. We didn't... More

We stayed in unit A9 in April 2012 which was a downstairs unit near the entrance to the project. My daughter liked the rattan furnishings although the TV was an old compact Sony Trinitron and there was no stereo. The unit was a basic 2 bedroom apartment/condominium which looked like it was built over 30 years ago with some remodeling... More

We were not expecting a 5 star resort, but this unit #14-F was terrible. This was a time share exchange through Interval International. They should remove it from their listings, it is not up to standards. The positive things were the views of the ocean, green hills , good outside landscaping & the quiet. This development was built in the... More

Ali'i Kai are condo-style units that were built in the early 70's and possibly updated 1-2 times since. Each building has about 8 units, I assume most are 2 bedrooms. Some are occupied full-time by locals. The only amenities are a basic pool and Jacuzzi. (Not to mention some nice views of both ocean and mountains.) We did not have... More

We visited this resort for 3 days in Feb. 2012 and loved it! Our corner- ground floor condo was a 2 bedroom 2 bath unit with a full kitchen & laundry. The kitchen was very well equipped as was the whole unit with extras like binoculars, guide books, water toys, etc. which gave it a home like feel. The view... More

our family just spent a week at the Alii Kai II resort unit 14F. In all of my travels this was the filthyist place I have ever rented. Don't confuse this with Alii Kai I across the street. Everything in this resort was substandard. There was no office to take up our complaints only a phone number of a lady... More

This is a quiet and peaceful resort. The bedrooms are roomy with lots of closet space. Beautiful views from the livingroom The North Shore provides awsome beaches, sunsets, single lane bridges, seafood and I could go on and on. We had a wonderful week staying here. From check-in to check-out everything went perfectly. The staff did not bother us at... More

We stayed at this unit, Building 7, unit 101- this is the best building unit as it has a GREAT view of the ocean and is literally NEXT DOOR to the pool so that the kids can swim in the morning as we get our coffee and heads together for the day. This 2 bed/2 bath has been very easy... More

This is a wonderful, quiet, end unit, overlooking the ocean. It has a huge wrap around balcony with amazing sunrise views and crashing ocean waves. It is so peaceful and located in the prettiest neighborhood in Kauai; Princeville. The owner is extremely helpful and nice to work with. I have stayed here several times. I was even lucky enough to... More

We spent a week in unit 13C and we really enjoyed it. It was clean and well stocked with kitchen gear. The furnishings are a bit dated, but a renovation is planned. Beach mats, chairs, and boogie boards are available from the office. The unit has two coolers for your use. The office was pleasant and helpful. It is very... More
